There was a bedside table only at one end of the bed and furniture and floor overall looked worn. There was an annoying motion light between the beds which we couldn’t turn off and some of the charging USBs next to the bed didn’t work. Creamers weren’t replaced during our stay. The coffee machine was squeezed into a drawer which made it really hard to fill it with water. The window, once opened wouldn’t stay open. There was only one small bin in the bathroom. There was no dish to put the bar of soap, so the sink area instantly looked messy, the towels felt a bit thin and there weren’t enough hooks to hang them. The bathroom was huge but cold and the cosmetics mediocre. On the disappointing side: the water took about 5-10 mins to get hot (a problem other guests also experienced), from what we heard) and the shower, once you turned it on hot made a loud hammering sound. ![]() The pool area is lovely with the water heated and plenty of sun beds. On the positive side: the beds were comfy, the wifi worked (although you had to log in again every morning), you could open the window and there was a spacious wardrobe with lots of hangars, a little table suitable as a desk and a Keurig coffee machine, too. We spent three nights here and found it didn’t match our experience of other four star hotels. The pool area is also a plus for getting some sun. The fitness center is well-equipped with a universal gym, dumbbells, some weight machines, and a mix of aerobic machines. There is nothing immediately adjacent to the hotel, but within a 5-10 minute walk you'll start finding some restaurants, Starbucks, etc. There is almost always something off, though, whether no lights in the closet, a missing Tivoli, or a broken towel hook by the shower. Unfortunately these issues outweigh positives about the room, including an in-room fridge, a Tivoli bluetooth speaker, and spacious rooms, especially for a city hotel. Water pressure is highly variable, and it's often way too low for comfortable shower. Sometimes it takes over 5 minutes to get hot water (especially in the early morning). The second big issue in the rooms is the showers. The system needs to be completely replaced. It's always a gamble whether I will get, at best, a mildly noisy one, or one that will squeak, that randomly get louder or softer, or one that sounds like a waterfall. While the hotel has some nice features, a regular problem at the hotel is the heating and a/c units. I've been staying at this hotel monthly for over a year.
